With the new national lockdown and as we are approaching the run up to Christmas, we wanted to update you on the changes to the way we operate.
The safety and wellbeing of our colleagues and customers continues to be the most important thing for us. We will continue to comply with the advice and guidance from the Government and put the safety of our customers and colleagues at the heart of our business. We continuously review the way we work and will post a further update when things change; you already know about the social distancing measures and enhanced cleaning regime we have in place.
We continue to welcome customer online at www.ornamental-aquaculture.co.uk and on our social and email channels. We anticipate that a lot of our customers will choose to make their purchases online, as they did during previous lockdown and are therefore focusing our efforts on supporting them in this way. We are currently doing everything we can to make sure all our products are available to be purchased via our website, but if there is something you do not see but would like, please let us know.
We continue to accept orders for ‘Click & Collect’ from our store and for local delivery – get in touch and we will do our best to help.
We are also offering limited number of appointments in store during our Friday-Sunday opening hours for customers who are not able to utilise the above ways of ordering or for complex purchases. This will ensure that the customers that wish to purchase goods are able to do so but at the same time, minimise risk to others and our staff by reducing number of people in the store at any one time. You can make an appointment by dropping us a message via our webpage or our Facebook page, by calling us, or by emailing us on email@example.com .
We continue to deliver goods and livestock as previously, subject to courier availability. As it gets colder, deliveries of livestock will be suspended to minimise risk – we will keep you updated.
Manufacturing of aquaria, cabinets etc is unaffected by the lockdown, subject to availability of glass and other materials. Deliveries will be to kerbside only, in line with current guidance.
If you have any questions of queries, drop us a line and we will do our best to help. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues, we currently have fewer people in our shop and office – we are doing everything we can to respond to your queries as quickly as possible, however, it may take us a little longer than usual.
Thank you for bearing with us.
